Building Momentum – National Trends and Prospects for High-Performance Green Buildings.
Building Momentum is a report based on an April 2002 roundtable convened by the U.S. Senate Public Works and Environment Committee in conjunction with the U.S. Green Building Council. This report highlights components of green building- environmental, economic, health, and productivity and further outlines specific recommendations for broadening and expanding the movement including strengthening existing federal policies and programs. The result--a comprehensive document that fully examines the path of green building, the opportunities, and the future direction.
Economic analysis of LEED projects is included in some of the reports listed below.

Broad Scope
New! LEED-ND Public Health Report.
This report comprehensively summarizes the relationship between how our communities are designed – land use, design character, transportation system, and density – and a series of public health outcomes such as physical activity, traffic crashes, respiratory health and mental health.
This is one of the first reports that not only summarizes the impact of the built environment on public health topics but also discusses how this information can be translated into positive changes to the built environment. The report was supported with funding from U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Centers for Disease Control, and sponsored by the LEED-ND partnership.
